Licitar skills workshop - Dash of joy and brightness

Licitar skills workshop – Dash of joy and brightness is our non-profit initiative for popularization of licitars, and thus preservation of that important part of the Croatian traditional heritage. The project initiated in 2002 by Ms. Nina Jecić, has been, at first, realized through set of workshops and presentation of licitars making in the Croatia and abroad. For that purpose we have newly arranged our workshop on Gvozdanska street, which may now receive groups of interested guests for the presentation, as we also own a small ethno collection devoted to gingerbread craft. Besides, our media appearances, i.e. on the radio, TV and in the press, make an important part of activity. The main co-organizer and financer of the activities going on within the initiative is today the company Licitar, until now with the support of the Ministry of Tourism and Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Croatia, of the Town of Zagreb and Zagreb Hodling.
